Papers and money
Aadhar (every yatri), train ticket print, yatra slip print (2 copies), hotel/heli booking prints, 1 passport photo.
Cash: ₹5-10k in small notes + ATM card.
UPI does not work everywhere — cash is a must.
Split cash between bag and pocket.
School ID works for kids.
Weather-wise clothes
Winter (Nov-Feb): heavy jacket, cap, gloves, 2 pairs of socks, thermals.
Bhawan drops to ~5°C.
Summer (May-Jun): light clothes, cap, towel, plus light jacket for mornings.
Monsoon: raincoat (not umbrella — hard in wind), extra socks, polythene bags.
Shoes: grippy sports shoes — never wear new slippers, they cause blisters.
Medicines and health
Full stock of daily medicines (BP/sugar) + doctor prescription.
ORS, fever, vomiting, pain, gas medicines, bandage, antiseptic, pain balm.
Breathlessness occurs at height — keep camphor/ajwain.
Small BP machine for elders.
Fever syrup + ORS for kids.
Medical camps exist at Ardhkuwari/Bhawan but carry your own medicines.
Gadgets and food
Full power bank, torch, 2 phones (1 basic backup), charger, extra battery.
1L water + glucose, dry fruits, biscuits, toffees.
Bhojanalayas exist at Bhawan but hunger strikes in queues.
Polythene mobile cover (rain).
Small lock (locker).
Extra for elders and kids
Elders: stick, knee band, shawl, diapers (if needed), heli/battery ticket prints.
Kids: 1 extra warm layer, milk powder, diapers, toy, pitthu booking.
Keep both groups' RFID yourself.

Raincoat — umbrellas flip in wind, hands stay free.
How much cash?
